Chris Bey vs Kevin Knight
Kevin side headlocks him then Bey side headlocks him. Kevin headlock takeovers him. Bey rolls him up then Kevin springboard armdrags him. Bey slingshots over him then takes a big slam. Kevin standing frogsplashes him for 2. Kevin forearms him off the apron. Bey gets back in and pulls Kevin's neck over the top rope.
Bey topes him and Kevin backslides him. Kevin hits punches and is spin kicked in the gut. Kevin hits a big dropkick then corner splashes him. Kevin springboard lariats him for 2 then hits forearms. Bey rolls him up for 2 then Bey spinning enzugiri's him.
Bey jumps over a lariat and superkicks him. Bey then suplexes him for 2. Bey elbow drops Kevin as he lays over the 2nd rope. Bey then hits an os cutter to win it.
It was your standard cruiserweight match. Not great or memorable but they did a good job flying around and keeping it moving.
The Grizzled Young Veterans attack Ace Austin and Chris Bey after. Ace takes a double team ddt. Bey tries to make the save then is dropped too. Bey then takes the double codebreaker. The Vet's then hold the tag titles after.
We had another Ash By Elegance promo.
Frankie Kazarian said he will talk next week about why he turned on EY. Rich Swann walks in and asks what is going on with him. Frankie said he's taking his career in his own hands and suggests Swann do the same thing.
AJ Francis walks in and said he will be in Swann's corner against Joe Hendry. They said they met in the back of the plane. AJ said Rich is still in the back of the plane while he rides first class. He said the best thing about first class is that there's a seat next to you. Uh, that doesn't make much sense.
Dirty Dango and Oleg Prudius vs Dante King and Damian Drake
Dango says he hates pro wrestling. Oleg pushes King over and throws him. Oleg push kicks him then throws Drake off the top. Drake is on the 2nd rope and Oleg kicks the 2nd rope. Dango is seated on a chair on the ramp. Oleg overhead suplexes Drake. Dango gets in the ring while on the phone and throws him into Oleg's headbutt. Dango then elbow slices Drake down and wins it.
This was a very weird squash.
Okada and The Motor City Machine GUns are interviewed. Alex says The System are not the backbone of TNA, they are. Sabin said they will show what Total Nonstop Action is tonight. Okada says TNA will feel The Rainmaker tonight.
Knockouts World Championship Jordynne Grace (c) vs Trinity
They shake hands and Trin hits forearms. Trin forearms her and hits a pumping knee. Trin rolls her up for 2 then slaps a submission on. Grace ropebreaks. Trin kicks her in the ribs and sliding elbow drops her. Trin then split drops her for 2.
Grace goes up and over in the corners htne spinebusters her for 2. We go to PiP break and return. Grace gets stuck on the 2nd rope and Trin tries a neckbreaker but Grace holds on. Grace vader bombs her for 2. Trin step up enzugiri's her. Trin headscissors her then drives her head into the mat.
Grace backs her up into the corner and they fight up top. Grace headbutts her and bangs Trin's head off her knee. Grace 2nd rope superplexes her then holds on for a jackhammer for 2.
Trin hits a full nelson bomb for 2. Grace urakens her then then Trin 2nd rope sunset flips her. They trade pin attempts. Trin does a head and double arm hold then Grace rolls her up and wins it.
It was average. Nothing too great here but botches or other issues either.
They shake hands after then get jumped after by a group that I won't be covering much of.
The System do a promo. They said they are the standard bearer in TNA Wrestling. Eddie said the System works. They say they will put an end to Okada tonight and Moose says you just have to trust the system.
Josh Alexander says today is a good day. He said he realized his dream at Hard to Kill and said he fought Will on the first episode of TNA. He said Will said you have to be a world beater to beat him. He said the company got its world beater when he put Will down with the C4 spike. Alan Angels comes in. He said the match with Will was sweet and asks him to be on his talk show called "The Sound Check". Josh says he's busy and Alan told him it would mean a lot. Josh agrees and Alan says he will love it.
Nic Nemeth vs Zachary Wentz
They lock up and Nic backs him up into the corner. They mat wrestle and Nic rolls him up. They push each other. Zach boots him and elbows him in the back of the neck. Zach tunes up the band for a superkick. Nic blocks it and dropkicks him.
Zach handsprings and goes down holding his knee. Trey Miguel trips Nick then Zach pumping knees Nic. Zach topes him into the rails. Zach chinlocks him and pulls him down backwards. Trey chokes Nic on the ropes then Zach gyrates at Nic.
Nic stomps Zach's foot. They trade punches then Nic hits flying moves. Nic splashes him then hits a neckbreaker. Nic elbow drops him. Nic is sent into the post shoulder first and Zach rolls him up with his tights for 2.
Nic jumping ddt's him for 2. Zach blocks a superkick then handspring jumping knees him. Zach hits a half-nelson slam for 2. Nic backslides him then hits a zig zag for the win.
It was a fast paced and good back and forth match. They made it look real good here and the two matched up well. Lots of pinfall attempts.
Trey goes after Nic and takes a zig zag after. Steve Maclin then stomps Nic. Steve grabs him then takes a zig zag.
I think Crazzy Steve says he thought Tommy Dreamer was helping him but actually was holding back. He said he decimated him and said he will use his title to carve a scar in the history pages of TNA. He said he doesn't need anything from Tommy, he's taken everything from him.
Rhino then comes in. He said if he doesn't like taking advice, maybe he should teach him a lesson whether he likes it or not. He then shoves him into a wall.
Decay does a promo and said the prophecy was fulfilled at the PPV. One of them said they had to remind themselves who and what they are. They say they are doing things their way now, the way of Decay.
MK Ultra (Killer Kelly and Masha Slamovich) vs Dani Luna and Jody Threat
Dani throws down Masha. Masha pulls her down. Dani takes a basement dropkick and sliding lariat. Dani exploders Masha for 2. Dani is tripped from the outside and Masha 2nd rope double stomps her.
Dani takes a trip + kick combo. Masha suplexes Dani then Kelly gets in. MK Ultra kick each other on accident then Dani lariats Kelly. Jody beats up her opponents 1v2 then pump kicks Kelly. Jody germans Kelly for 2. Jody gets up top and Masha interrupts her. Kelly throws Jody off the top. Jody takes a sandwich knee then a double ganso bomb and is pinned.
It was fine for what it was but that finish is way too dangerous to be doing it in a throwaway like this. They didn't have enough time here and it was a little rushed.
Dani and Jody are beaten up after. Dani takes a sandwich knee then a double ganso bomb.
The System (Moose, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards) vs Kazuchika Okada and The Motor City Machine Guns
Eddie and Alex trade hammerlocks. Alex headlock takeovers him and they shove each other. All 6 then get in and face off. We go to PiP break and return. Sabin in slammed down then Moose and Okada tag in. They go face to face. Moose headlocks him and shoulders him over. Moose rolls him up for 2 then Moose spears the buckles. Okada misses a rainmaker attempt and Moose backs off.
Eddie gets in and is tripped then elbow dropped. Eddie is dragon screwed over the 2nd rope then his other leg is dragon screwed too. The Guns then jump down on his legs while they are on the ropes. Sabin holds Eddie so Alex can dragon screw him. Eddie is sandwiched with kicks by The Gun's. Okada elbow drops Eddie's leg then splashes it.
Moose throws Sabin out and Sabin's back is sent into the apron. Myers chinlocks Alex. We go to another PiP break and return. Eddie facekicks Myers on accident. Sabin gets the hot tag in and clears off his opponents. Sabin 2nd rope double lariats Myers and Eddie. Sabin boots Moose from the apron and pulls Myers over the top. Sabin hits a nice 2nd rope ddt for 2.
Eddie takes a superkick + lariat combo. Sabin cutters Myers. Sabin face kicks Alex on accident then Eddie blue thunders him for 2. Sabin top rope double crossbodies Eddie and Myers then hits a tornado ddt by bouncing off of Myers.
Moose and Okada tag in. Okada running back elbows him then hits a ddt. Okada pushes Myers into Eddie then flapjacks Myers. Okada over the back neckbreakers Moose on the knee. Okada slams Moose then top rope elbow drops him. Okada dropkicks Moose. Moose gets back up then hits his own dropkick on Okada.
Alex superkicks Eddie and punches Myers out. Eddie backpack stunners Alex for 2. Eddie takes an enzugiri from Sabin then Moose takes a double superkick. Eddie takes a double team sequence from The Guns then Myers flying knees Sabin. Okada rainmakers Myers then Alex hits a blade runner on Myers and wins it.
The 2 breaks really cut this one up. What we saw outside of the break was fine though. It was a fast paced match and they did a nice job building up the Okada vs Moose spots.
We get a Mustafa Ali video with him doing his political leader gimmick. He said change sometimes happens over time and sometimes it happens in a flash. He said it's time for a different type of change. He then says he approves this message.
Overall thoughts: It was an okay show with the main being fine, Bey/Knight and Nemeth/Wentz also being fine.
